CAROL ZOCCOLI

One of the eight finalists of Jokenation 2015, international comedy competition by the Montreux Comedy Festival in Switzerland.

Stand-up act performed at One Hour Fun Hour, The Garage Show, The Perfect 10, The Corner, Divercity and Tomes in Toronto. Performs around the city regularly.

JOE VU

After winning awards in advertising for a Superbowl commercial and a Ted Talks 10 Global Ads worth sharing, Joe Vu abandoned his lucrative career in advertising to be totally disowned by his Asian parents. Since then he's been on The Winnipeg Comedy Festival and the prestigious Just For Laughs festival and can also be heard on CBC The Debaters. His comedy comes from the perspective of the under represented south east Asian voice. Absurd, intelligent, and insightful, his routine is at once both entertaining and educational.

KEVIN MATVIW

Kevin has been performing improv and sketch comedy in for the past six years. Past performance/writing credits include: Are We There Yet? 2, Vampire Campfire and My Homeroom Teacher is a Vampire with The Second City Educational Company and S#@t My Mayor Says, Best. Monday. Ever. and The Dysfunctional Holiday Revue for The Second City National Touring Company. Kevin's work has also been featured in Canada's National Post, the Canadian Comedy Award winning sketch show Sunday Night Live and Cracked.com.
Kevin Matviw has also been a head writer/director for sketch troupes The Templeton Philharmonic (Cream of Comedy 2012), The Rulers of the Universe (Winners: Sketch Com-Ageddon 2012), The Naked Fridays Players and has worked as an Assistant Director for The Second City Training Centre's sketch writing program.


THE COINCIDENCE MEN

"The Coincidence Men" make things up for comedy improv audiences. TCM are Kerry Griffin, Rob Hawke, Ralph MacLeod, Gord Oxley and Marcel St. Pierre, all respected vets of Toronto's improv, sketch and comedy "scene". 2 of them are sometimes known as the sketch-comedy-Gemini-Award winning comedy duo "Fast n Dirty". 3 of them have been observed as shortform improv juggernaut "The Gee Spots". 3 of them were the founding alumni and creative force behind "The Bad Dog Theatre Company". 3 of them are Second City alum while the other 2 are known to run "The Social Capital Theatre". 100 years of collective improv experience between them, and a bunch of comedy awards and nominations. They do long form. They do shortform. They do shlongform. But all of that is really just a coincidence.


As always, hosted by the comedy couple that is not actually a couple ANNE MCMASTER (Not Oasis, Clue Live!, The LCBO) and SCOTT FAULCONBRIDGE (Just For Laughs, The Debaters, NBC's "Last Comic Standing").

No date necessary - this drop in is for anybody interested in learning some improv basics and a few "Whose Line is it Anyway?" games.
