This month's performers are ...
Celeste Yim is an award-winning writer, comedian, and friend with bylines in VICE, The Globe & Mail, MTV, and more. She performs weekly as a cast member of The Sketchersons and in the past year, Celeste was named a Bob Curry fellow at The Second City, one of "Canada's Top 100 Women" by FLARE Magazine, and "racist to whites" by a Twitter user.
Tamara Shevon is a Toronto-based comic who started her comedic story-telling through wine-coloured glasses in Bejing, China. Since then, she has been blazing through the Toronto scene with her characteristic wit and her lovable ability to flirt with the boundaries of socially acceptable. Tamara produces and hosts the very popular Against the Collar Comedy Show. Tamara has performed stand-up all over China, Canada, and the United States and was second runner-up in the Beijing Improv Comedy Festival. Tamara is currently touring across Ontario with Shawna Edward for the Irritable & Confused Comedy Tour where she is likely to be the only black person at each stop. If this wasn't obvious enough already, Tamara wrote this bio herself which is why she sounds so awesome.
Noted lesbian Ashley Moffatt is a comedian, writer, and father figure to two small dogs. Winner of the Mark Breslin Award for Stand-up Comedy Excellence, two time Fresh Meat Nominee, and, if you mispell her name "Moffat", you can find her IMDB page. Frequent festival darling, she has performed at Montreal Sketchfest, Milwaukee Sketchfest, Toronto Pride, Sirius XM Next Top Comic, LOLSudbury Comedy Festival, JFL42, CBC's Debaters, and on a televised gala at The Winnipeg Comedy Festival. You can find her writing on various websites including Reductress, and MATILDA'S (yes -- THAT Matilda) twitter because one time she retweeted her.
Hosted by Natalie Norman
producer and host of Taking up Space and Crimson Wave Comedy.
