Introducing a Drop In Improv Class at Comedy Bar! Taught by a rotating cast of Toronto's best improvisers, The Drop In Improv Class gives you a chance to try what some of our comedians do. Play fun improv games and exercises, think on your feet, and be in the moment. There's no experience necessary.
The Drop In Class is every Thursday at 6:30pm-7:30pm.

YOU GOT GAME! (2-DAY INTENSIVE Workshop*)
Everyone talks about the "Game of the Scene", now's your chance to experience it in all its glory. In this intensive workshop, you will learn “Game of the Scene” from the ground up, developing a complete and thorough understanding of this unique way to look at improvisational theatre. This 12-hour intensive focuses on breaking down and understanding the concept of game, identifying games within your scene work, heightening and exploring the game of your scene and integrating it into your pre-existing improv tool belt. The game IS your scene. Learn how to wield this weapon of improvised comedy and change your scene work forever.
Must have a minimum of 1 year of improv experience, the equivalent of A-E improvisation levels at Second City. If you have questions please send Matt a private message. Some exceptions will be made.
Date: Friday, Nov. 2nd & Saturday, Nov. 3rd
Time: 11 AM - 6 PM (1 hour break)
Cost: $150.00 + tax per student, a limit of 14 students, 12 hours of class time

Matt Folliott is a Comedian/Actor/Writer born and raised in Toronto. He can be seen regularly at Toronto’s Comedy Bar in shows like Catch 23, Sunday Night Live & Rapp Battlez. A vet of the Canadian Improv festival scene, he's had the pleasure of traveling across Canada performing and teaching improv comedy. Matt was nominated for a Readers Choice Award for Best Male Improviser two years in a row in Toronto's Now Magazine and a 2015 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Improv Troupe with his group K$M ( pronounced K and M ). Recent TV credits include Make It Pop, Illusions of Grandeur, Wandering Wenda and The Next Step.
