Big City Improv Festival (BCIF)

Date: Monday November 19th 2018
Time: 8:00pm - 9:30pm

Big City Improv Fest presents:

The Making-Box Brigade's signature show is Royal City Heroes. A longform improv show that celebrates a special guest through interviews and improv inspired by those conversations. We have had the pleasure of showcasing the Mayor of Guelph, Marie Zimmerman (ED of Hillside Festival), Sage Tyrtle (Storyteller), Burnaby Orbax (Freak Show Entertainer) and Royal City Brewing Co. We love finding our inspiration in our community.

Those Guys (Alex Parra and Andrew Job) are a pretty funny improv duo that tries to tell the perfect hero's journey while constantly being side tracked by pop culture references and secondary characters. Oh and music!

"The Coincidence" is the signature format of The Coincidence Men, blending long-form narrative with the lightning-quick rapid-fire delivery and elements of shortform from a single suggestion. Common elements between characters, relationships and narrative similarities are discovered, echoed, explored and mined for dramatic impact, synchronous narrative and maximum laughs.
