Big City Improv Festival (BCIF)

Date: Saturday November 17th 2018
Time: 8:00pm - 9:30pm

Big City Improv Fest presents:

Lil Strawberry Bitch is a narrative! From a simple suggestion we will take the audience through the highs and lows of 5 different characters as they navigate a fictional world. Are we all apple farmers trying to win the biggest apple contest? Maybe! Are we townspeople in a town on the brink of economic collapse and the only thing that will save the town is a massive benefit concert in the town's centre? Could be! Find out with us!

Our rotating cast performs Long Form improv which is character and relationship driven. The Pointless Form: The Bruce Lee, or Water Form. We look to emulate Bruce Lee's approach to martial arts, through our approach to the art of improv. We are continually training, learning, and exploring various forms, and styles, so that we can be at our most improv ready state, able to use any element, at any given time.

Everything is game with DVG. We're a longform troupe that supports hard and plays stupid. There's no such thing as a bad offer. We're known for being playful and mischievous.
We once got an entire audience on stage for a group game...three times at the Del Close Marathon. They loved it.
We're known for shaking the hand of every audience member before every show. We'll typically do a "Hot-tage" (a montage set) or a Harold.
