IMPROV TO SKETCH WITH KEVIN MCDONALD (WORKSHOP)

Learn the Kids in the Hall method of writing sketches through improv.

In this workshop Kevin will:
- discuss the basics of sketch comedy and comedy writing,
- invite students participate in warm up games that lead into thinking naturally about writing and performing at the same time.
- split the class into small groups to improvise scenes that, throughout the remainder of the day, will be turned into fully developed comedy sketch

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Kevin McDonald is a Canadian actor, voice actor and comedian. He is best known as a member of The Kids in the Hall, the voice of Pleakley in the Lilo & Stitch franchise, Waffle in Catscratch, Pastor Dave in That 70s Show, and the Almighty Tallest Purple in Invader Zim. Kevin also stars as a co-pilot in the 2011 web comedy series Papillon.
