"Life in the Margins" is a QAPD Productions workshop for our 2SLGBTQQIAA Community + Allies. Chris Callum leads this workshop and Q+A on:
What 2SLGBTQPPIAA+ actually means
What does safety mean for marginalized queer & trans people
How to create safety for marginalized queer & trans people
Recognizing internal biases
Learning how to unpack biases

Workshop attendees receive 5$ off admission to QAPD's : "Gay AF (and funny)" Queer Comedy Showcase immediately following the Workshop! (8PM Comedy Bar)

Christopher Callum is a queer, disabled trans advocate who plays an active role in their workplace, union and community with education and advocacy. They have worked on the executive board of Nova Scotia's brain injury society, and currently chair their local CEIU LGBTQ2+ committee.

Safe Space + Accessibility Note : Comedy Bar strives towards being a positive inclusive safe space for all. However the bar is situated down a flight of stairs so it is not accessible to all.
