DESCRIPTION

This course is for experienced improvisers looking to deepen their skills in longform narrative improvisation. Through 7 in-studio classes and a run of optional performances, students will focus exclusively on creating rich, sustained stories driven by authentic characters, relationships, and ensemble play.

Explore the principles of compelling narrative structure, emotional storytelling, and organic scene work while learning to build cohesive, improvised narratives in some of the most classic genres.

All graduates of Pro Narrative will be invited to perform in an extended run of STUDIO FRIDAYS. Ticket sales from these performances will be split 50/50 with the performers and Comedy Bar.

PREREQUISITES

This class is by submission only. Applicants must be a graduate of an improv program or have 3+ years of industry experience to be eligible.
