DESCRIPTION

Whether you're an improviser looking to strengthen your characters, a comic wanting to bring more truth to your sets, or someone who's always wanted to try acting, this course is the perfect place to start.

Acting 101 students will focus on scene study, working with contemporary scripts to develop the core skills every actor needs. Through rehearsal, performance, and instructor feedback, you'll explore objectives, relationships, active listening, emotional honesty, script analysis, and making authentic choices.

Great comedy starts with believable people. By learning to ground your performances in truth, you'll discover how commitment, connection, and genuine emotion can make every scene—whether dramatic or hilarious—more compelling.

No previous acting experience is required—just a willingness to play, collaborate, and step into someone else's shoes.
