Have you ever made someone laugh and wondered how you did it? Has someone ever said “You should try stand-up comedy” but you don’t know where to begin? Are you an experienced stand-up with writer’s block? Then this workshop is for you! In this drop-in stand-up comedy workshop, participants will learn the basics of joke structure, how to pull ideas from their own lives and participate in active premise generating exercises that make writing stand-up…dare I say…fun! Get to know yourself and what makes you uniquely funny. Suitable for both a novice and the more experienced.
