This class is inspired by the style and teachings of improvisational theatre pioneer Keith Johnstone. It focuses on short form narrative structure, status, dramatic action, emotional reactions, short form games, and grounded acting. Students will learn to embrace failure, be obvious, actively listen onstage, connect with individuals in the audience, connect with their fellow performers, and access their inner sense of play and charm.
