Do you find it difficult to get out of your head while improvising? Do you leave classes or performances focused on negative self-talk? Do nerves take over before you even step into a scene? This workshop is designed for you. By integrating mindfulness techniques—such as breathwork, body awareness, and developing curiosity around thought patterns—into improv exercises, this session will help you stay grounded in the present moment rather than caught up in future worries. Through a combination of games and scenes, participants will receive side coaching with practical, actionable feedback to identify both strengths and areas for growth.
