Do you find yourself rushing to the next joke, filling every silence, or feeling like you always need to have a new idea ready? Patient Improv is a workshop designed to help you take your time, trust the moment, and discover what happens when you stop trying to make things happen.
Through a combination of exercises and scenework, we’ll explore the power of slowing down, embracing silence, fully exploring every offer, and letting ideas develop naturally rather than forcing them. With an emphasis on listening, reacting, and staying curious, you’ll practice resisting the urge to rush ahead and learn how patience can lead to richer characters, stronger relationships, and more surprising scenes. Participants will receive side coaching with practical, actionable feedback to recognize their strengths and identify opportunities to bring more space, intention, and ease into their improv.
