DESCRIPTION

Calling all established and aspiring improv DUOS!

This class is designed specifically for duos who want to explore the art of improvising together or for individuals interested in starting duo in the future! Learn short form games that highlight the magic of duos, dive into improv formats that showcase your connection and pick up essential tips and tricks to make your duo SHINE! Whether you're a seasoned pair or just starting out, PRO DUOs will help you develop chemistry, trust, and the skills to captivate any audience.

With 7 in-studio classes and 8 performances (feedback included!) as part of STUDIO SUNDAYS in the Studio Theatre at Comedy Bar Danforth, you'll leave this course with the confidence that you can always deliver a solid duo scene anywhere, from jams to pro shows and everything in between!

All graduates of Pro DUOS performing in STUDIO SUNDAYS receive a 50/50 split of ticket sales.

PRICE

Early Bird: $325.00 + Tax - Until April 8th, 2025

Price: $375.00 + Tax - As of April 9th, 2025

PREREQUISITES

This class is by submission only. Applicants must be a graduate of an improv program or have 3+ years of industry experience to be eligible.  

HOW TO SUBMIT

If submitting as a DUO, please include the name of your duo. Email both members’ headshot and resume or previous improv experience as well as contact information to submissions@comedybar.ca. If submitting individually, please email a headshot and resume to submissions@comedybar.ca using the subject line DUOS for consideration by Monday, May 19th. 

Successful applicants will be contacted and enrolled by Friday, May 23rd.
