DESCRIPTION

This course is for experienced improvisers looking to refine their skills and delve into the intricacies of longform storytelling. With 7 in-studio classes and 2 noted performances, students will explore classic structures like The Harold, Armando and Small Town.

Learn to create intricate characters and develop sophisticated group dynamic and hone your ability to create compelling unscripted narratives on your way to becoming a true pro of longform improv!

All graduates of Pro Longform will be invited to perform in an extended run of Comedy Bar's LONGFORM NIGHT. Ticket sales from this show will be a 50/50 split with performers.

PREREQUISITES

This class is by submission only. Applicants must be a graduate of an improv program or have 3+ years of industry experience to be eligible.  

HOW TO SUBMIT

Email a headshot and previous improv experience to submissions@comedybar.ca using the subject line LONGFORM IMPROV for consideration by Monday, May 19th. 

Successful applicants will be contacted and enrolled by Friday, May 23rd.
