DESCRIPTION

This course will prepare students to turn their improvised scenes and songs into full-blown (25-30 min long) musicals! With focus on the NYC-style Musical Hero’s Journey form, students will work on song structures, choreography and stage pictures, in addition to setting the scene and establishing amazing characters and relationships to create absolutely mind-boggling Broadway-like musicals!!

PREREQUISITES

This class is by submission only. Applicants must be a graduate of an improv program or have 3+ years of industry experience to be eligible.
