Three headliners in one night live at the Comedy Bar Danforth

Arthur Simeon is a Ugandan-born Toronto-based comedian who has been performing for a decade all over the world. A truly gifted storyteller, Arthur has been invited to perform at the prestigious Just For Laughs comedy festival eight times and appeared on CBC Television, HBO and the Comedy Network. His unique comedic voice and perspective has seen him featured in the Globe & Mail, NOW magazine and the Toronto Star. He’s also a regular on CBC Radio's Laugh Out Loud and The Debaters. 

Arthur is a banana bread connoisseur and lover of slow jams.

Dave Merheje is considered to be one of the most original stand-up acts on the comedy scene today. His multiple award-winning act has gained a loyal following across in North America with his “no fear” approach on stage and a comedy style best described as aggressive in-your-face funny. Dave had his first comedy special air in Australia on ABC2, and has made appearances on Comedy Network’s Match Game, was a regular contributor on MTV Live, recurred on CBC’s Mr. D, and he co-stars in the comedy series Ramy on Hulu. He Co-starred alongside Daisy Ridley in the movie Sometimes I Think About Dying which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 19th, 2023. Film is now available on digital and on-demand in the US and Canada.

After appearances at the Netflix sponsored New Faces show at Just for Laughs festival, and a breakout viral video from Winnipeg comedy festival this past year, Rob Bebenek has asserted himself as one of the brightest new voices to come out of Canada.

Quick wit and a keen eye for observation, highlight a comedy skill set that is becoming a force on stages across North America, and has audiences wanting more. Often described as an “every man”, Rob balances smart writing and a strong charismatic presence, without ever coming across as smug.
