Gay AF Comedy has been the passion project of Canadian Comedy Award winner Robert Watson since 2019, serving big laughs and amplifying comedic voices from the many intersections of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. As host and producer Robert has presented hundreds of Queer focused events in partnerships that include Just For Laughs, Pride Toronto, Departure Festival, Zoofest, Comedy Bar and countless local Pride festivals across southern Ontario. Robert’s work to uplift his community with laughter resulted in Gay AF Comedy receiving the 2025 Inspire Award for Queer Positive Business of the Year. In 2024/2025 Gay AF went national with The Gay AF Comedy Tour, which travelled to 11 cities across Canada with fabulous shows in 9 out of 10 provinces. Gay AF Comedy has been featured in CBC Arts, The Toronto Star, CP24, IN Magazine, Edmonton Journal, Winnipeg Free Press, CTV Morning Atlantic, The Social, and many others.

Robert’s 2022 stand up special “Out For Laughs” can be found on OutTV and Amazon Prime. His premier album and #1 debut on the Itunes Comedy chart, 2023’s “Homo Say What?” can be heard on all major streaming platforms, along with his new EP “Mom Won’t Like This” released in August 2025.
