JOKE SIGNALS: THE LATERAL VIBRANCE TOUR brings together the comedic talents of Chad Anderson (Cree), Clifton Cremo (Mi’kmaw), and Dakota Ray Hebert (Dene)—three of Canada’s most compelling Indigenous voices in stand-up comedy. Supported by the Canada Council for the Arts, this nationwide tour showcases sharp storytelling, personal reflection, and fearless humour rooted in lived experience. Collectively, they’ve appeared on CBC television and radio, Just For Laughs festivals across the country, major comedy festivals, and SiriusXM, with performances that balance wit, vulnerability, and cultural insight.
Chad Anderson is a Winnipeg-based comedian known for his work on CBC’s The Debaters, Canada It’s Complicated, and his SiriusXM-featured album Live at Wee Johnny’s. Clifton Cremo blends wry absurdism with thoughtful commentary on First Nations issues and has appeared on CBC’s Laugh Out Loud, The Debaters, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and multiple Halifax Comedy Festivals. Dakota Ray Hebert, based in Saskatoon, is a stand-up comic, actor, and co-owner of the city’s first formal comedy club, Art Bar; she has released two comedy albums, performed at all major Just For Laughs festivals, and appeared on Netflix, Disney+, Crave, and CBC. Together, these three comics deliver a tour that’s hilarious, honest, and unmistakably electric.
