Juan Pablo López is a Chilean comedian and former engineer who spent sixteen years working at one of the world’s largest international banks — an experience that later became the inspiration behind much of his stand-up material.

Originally overcoming his fear of public speaking through workshops in speech, storytelling, and eventually stand-up comedy, Juan Pablo made a dramatic career shift that changed his life. Shortly after leaving the corporate world, he found himself performing in front of 15,000 people at Chile’s most prestigious entertainment event, the legendary Viña del Mar International Song Festival.

Known for his sharp observational humor, relatable storytelling, and charismatic stage presence, Juan Pablo López has become one of Chile’s most recognized comedians, connecting with audiences through comedy rooted in real life, work culture, relationships, and everyday absurdities.
