Musical comedian Avery Pearson retires from comedy. A farewell evening of comedy music, special guests and retirement.

AVERY PEARSON is from Toronto and established himself as the go-to guy for comedy music in Los Angeles. He was recently seen in Kevin Hart & Kenan Thompson's Olympic Highlights (Peacock) and wrote music for SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (NBC). Avery has written opening numbers for ESPYs (ABC) featuring Stephen Curry and Jay Pharaoh, and the NFL HONORS (ABC/ESPN+) where he served as Music Director for the House Band - hosted by Keegan-Michael Key. He appeared on The Hall (Netflix), ‘Bill Burr’s Friends Who Kill’ (Netflix), ‘Masters of Sex’ (Showtime), 'Suits' (USA), ‘LA Complex’ (CW). 

Avery runs monthly live shows in LA ‘The 88 Show’ (Hollywood Improv), ‘Keys to the Store’ (Comedy Store), ‘Quitting Comedy’ (Hollywood Improv) and has performed on festivals, Netflix Is A Joke Festival, NY Comedy Festival, Moontower, and Kennedy Center. Avery created comedy music for ILIZA SHLESINGER SKETCH SHOW (Netflix), and can be seen in HISTORICAL ROASTS WITH JEFF ROSS (Netflix) as the Musical Director - where he wrote all of the songs. His music video 'I'm Not Equipped To Be A Father', with Tiffany Haddish was front-paged by Funny Or Die. Avery co-wrote and co-directed the music video 'Christmas Magic' (Howie Mandel, Adam Devine, Sasheer Zamata, Nick Swardson, Richard Lewis and more) to benefit COMEDY GIVES BACK. Coming up, Avery will appear in Moby's feature film, 'Tecie' alongside Sarah Jeffery and Mena Massoud, and is writing a musical with Arden Myrin. He is a Unionville High School Arts York Alumni.
