Weekly Coaching/Rehearsals: Fridays from 6:00 - 8:00 PM

Coaching Fee: Approx. $20 per person per session

Run: Friday, January 9 - March 28th with possibility of extension

Performances: Monthly marquee shows (50/50 split) + select previews

DESCRIPTION

The Troupe: Tik Tok Boom House Team is CB PRO's audition-based sketch troupe dedicated to creating Toronto's next great sketch show - with a twist!

This high-energy house team focuses entirely on Blackouts and Extended Blackouts: fast, punchy, TikTok-inspired sketch comedy built for maximum impact. The show will also feature an improvised, high-octane "speed set" as a thrilling Act 2.

Selected performers will join the Tik Tok Boom House Team and work under expert guidance, using real-world writers' room techniques to write, rehearse, and perform an original, one-act monthly sketch revue.

Troupe members participate in weekly coaching sessions and perform in monthly marquee shows with a 50/50 door split, plus additional preview sets. 

PREREQUISITES

Participation in Tik Tok Boom is by Audition only. Applicants must be a graduate of a comedy program or have 3+ years of industry experience to be eligible.  

HOW TO SUBMIT

Email a headshot, resume and 2 - 3 original blackout scripts (1 page or less) to submissions@comedybar.ca using the subject line TIK TOK BOOM for consideration.

Submissions close: Monday, January 5th at midnight!

Auditions will be held: Tuesday, January 6th at Comedy Bar Danforth.
