DESCRIPTION

The Troupe: Musical Sketch is CB Pro’s audition-based course focused entirely on creating Toronto’s next smash-hit musical sketch show!

Members of The Troupe: Musical Sketch will work under expert direction and guidance, working through tried-and-tested content generation exercises and real-world writers’ room techniques to develop original musical comedy material. Comedic songs, musical sketches, musical parodies and pastiches, movement to original accompaniment- this show will hit all the high notes of musical comedy!

Students will write, rehearse, workshop and perform an original one-act Musical Sketch Show on the Comedy Bar Danforth!

Please Note: Material created through The Troupe: Musical Sketch program remains the property of the students who wrote said material. Future use and/or licensing of the Revue presented as a whole (or more than 50%) is open to discussion on a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of CB Pro leadership.

Price: $450.00 + Tax

PREREQUISITES

This class is by Audition only. Applicants must be a graduate of a comedy program or have 3+ years of industry experience to be eligible.
